We are hosting a fundraiser to raise money for my favorite local organization, The Honeycomb Project. I hope you’ll be a part of this movement and show your support!
My family and I started volunteering with The Honeycomb Project in 2021. We joined because the organization curates family-friendly activities that engage young kids to address important issues like homelessness, food security, and environmental conservation. We have participated in many activities that have been memorable for our kids and will undoubtedly shape their view on social and environmental responsibility. For example, we visited the Belfort House, where Jivan and Azuri Bedi enjoyed a meal and played games with young people that are experiencing homelessness. On another occasion, they wrote notes and creating activity books for kids at Lurie's Children's Hospital.
Your donation will fuel impactful programs like these. This holiday season alone, they're mobilizing 1,000 volunteers to tackle pressing needs in Chicago, including providing coats and blankets for migrant families, delivering self-care packages to tent cities, and supplying books and pajamas to children in local shelters.
Our goal is to continue cultivate a sense of social and environmental responsibility with young folks, so they can steer their own communities in the future (local and abroad) to care about other people and the planet.
